CPSO QI Program-- Individual / Group & Partnership Streams
"Participation in a SCHC course may be used towards fulfilling some of CPSO QI program requirements.
CPSO QI Program:
There are now 2 streams in the QI Program:
1. Individual QI Stream- Done as individuals or in smaller identifiable groups.
2. Partnership QI Stream- this is an excellent option for physicians who work at an Ontario hospital.
To date, MSC North has partnered with Hospitals in Collingwood, Barrie, and Thunder Bay as the education foundation for their CPSO QI programs.
What has been the total time commitment in QI Partnership Stream using MSC North?
MSC North SCHC Course: 6-9 hrs
Pre and post Surveys: 30 minutes
CPSO QI modules: 1.5-2 hrs
TOTAL: 8-11 hrs
So why would I do this instead of doing an Individual CPSO QI project?
1. Time saving- 8-11 hrs vs 12-16 hrs
